Welcome Letter

What’s next?

The card industry has spent the last year expanding and contracting, adjusting to painful regulation while finding new pockets of opportunity. Credit cards have yet to fully recover from the financial crisis and regulations, and debit cards have joined in the squeeze. But at the same time, options for issuers are multiplying.

Prepaid is growing, mobile payments of all sorts are being tested, and startups are unveiling new types of payments options and technologies seemingly every day. Alternative payments such as Bitcoin are gaining pop-culture buzz. Some banks even are finding ways to reinvigorate their traditional credit card and private-label card lending.

Consumers these days have an increasing array of ways to pay for things, presenting both opportunities and challenges to banks. This year’s Card Forum & Expo will address all of these topics, with advice and executive-level insights from bankers, network executives and innovators. Take a look at this year’s agenda, including our first-ever day devoted exclusively to prepaid.

Please accept our invitation to attend the 24th annual Card Forum & Expo. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with industry peers and with the executives who already are redefining the payments landscape. Make your reservations now and join us, May 8 to 11, at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in Orlando, Florida.
