By meeting and collaborating with entrepreneurs and the startup community, L’Atelier is the bank’s information and analysis center for cutting-edge, disruptive technology, providing it with crucial intelligence on ways it can harness innovative technologies. The U.S. subsidiary, based in San Francisco focuses specifically on mobile and payments.
In this talk, Sergi Herrero, the CEO of L'Atelier North America and also Vice President of Business Development, Payments and Mobile Finance Services of BNP-Paribas will discuss how the unit operates and gathers information, what he’s learned in his experience working with startups, and the kind of unique perspectives entrepreneurs are able to bring to banks.
