AVOIDING THE PITFALLS OF CALL VOLUME HARASSMENT: STRATEGIES FOR RISK MITIGATION
This session seeks to explore and discuss this burgeoning area of litigation and how creditor’s can protect themselves against this type of liability. First, this session will focus on how federal and state courts define Section 806 as it relates to call harassment claims. Second, the speakers will discuss how best to defend against these types of claims. Finally, the session will close with operational strategies to mitigate creditor, collector and servicer risk and exposure in this area.
