Senior Vice President of Cash Management, Fidelity Investments
William “Sam” McLimans is senior vice president of cash management in the Brokerage and Investments Solutions group of Fidelity Personal, Workplace and Institutional Services, a unit of Fidelity Investments. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing and other financial products and services to more than 20 million individuals, institutions and financial intermediaries.
Mr. McLimans is responsible for all FDIC and Cash sweep products for IRAs, HSAs and 529 plans, including the Fidelity Cash Management Account. He is also responsible for the Fidelity credit card and debit card products, BillPay, check writing, money movement capabilities and payments as well as all supporting partner relationships and services.
Prior to joining Fidelity in 2007, Mr. McLimans spent nine years in leadership roles with Citizens Bank, most recently as executive vice president of Customer Direct and Branch Administration. In this role, he led Citizens Bank’s alternative delivery and sales channels, including strategic planning, technology, operations and direct management of all call centers, online banking, BillPay, Web, debit card, ATM and remote cash services.
Prior to that, Mr. McLimans served in senior roles at Barnett Bank in Jacksonville, Florida; Key Services Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio and Albany, New York.
Mr. McLimans received a bachelors degree in Liberal Arts from State University College of Buffalo, New York, and has attended both the Harvard and Wharton Schools of Business for continuing education. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 24 licenses.
