Head of Payments, US Bank
Racy Morgan is the senior vice president and head of payments strategy and execution for U.S. Bank. Her responsibilities include creating a cohesive strategy plan, actively solving compliance, operational and terminal challenges and partnering with other U.S. Bank divisions to create strategic funding initiatives.
Prior to her role at U.S. Bank, Morgan served as the senior vice president of business intelligence for Elavon, a U.S. Bank subsidiary. She designed a new organizational structure by assembling internal resources and defining roles and responsibilities. Within months, she established credibility with stakeholders and delivered actionable insights that directly contributed to $9.6 million dollars of revenue within the first six months. While in this role, Morgan was selected to be mentored by Elavon’s chief executive officer.
In addition, Morgan has an extensive background in strategy, analytics and strategic planning from her former roles as head of strategy and analytics of sales and marketing for IHG, and as a consultant to engagement leaders for KPMG/PWC.
In 2017, Morgan was recognized as one of the Most Influential Women in Payments by PaymentSource. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Engineering from BITS India and a Master’s in Business Administration from Yale School of Management.
