Vice President, Mobile and e-Commerce Specialist, Mastercard
Melanie Gluck is a 20+ year veteran of the Financial Industries, with more than 12 years working on Digital Payments. Current responsibilities include leading Mastercard’s efforts in the US migration to EMV-based payments, as well as managing contactless payments growth. She is a Board Member of the Smart Card Alliance, and serves on the Steering Committee for the U.S. Payments Forum as well.
Gluck has worked with customers to deploy mobile wallets, tokens, EMV contact and contactless chip programs. She helped bring these programs to market, including work on Apple Pay, EMV in the US, Masterpass Digital Wallet, Mastercard PayPass™ contactless payment solution in Orlando, 2003, and soon Samsung Pay. She works with FIs to help them understand the environment as well as developing strategies and programs that help the FIs to retain customers, grow spend and prepare their customer-bases to embrace emerging opportunities as well as advances in the payments industry.
Gluck is a graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business with an MBA in Marketing. She also hold BFA in Fine Arts from Colgate University. She has worked in the financial industries for more than 23 years; including 20 years at Mastercard.
